Happy New Year

I was browsing through the net, I strongly recommend this website if you want to l0ok for your favourite actor's photos, be it Hong Kong, South Korea, whatever. Everything about them can be found in http://www.asianhunk.net/

I thought Lee Jun Ki from My Girl was really cute even though it's quite controversial that some people think he looks very feminine. You should see his flirtious character in My Girl trying to shua shuai, it can melt anyone's hearts.

Why do these Korean actors all look so good. I'm so envious of their complexion.

Well, enough about that. New Year's coming in like 3 hours' time, but I doubt I will be staying up for any countdown of any sort. It's only me and my mom, and my mother will be in bed by 11, latest. So I see no point staying up alone, at home. So this just means I am cooping up at home.

Strictly speaking, I am carrying out this nonsensical exercise plan.
Just to make my point, I have and had been:
- Mopped the floor today
- Swimming 20 laps yesterday
- Running the day before
- Skipping 2 days before

Just meaning to lose those kilos before school reopens because I would not want to have a pudgy face in front of new classmates. By far, I have not heard anyone to be in the same orientation groups with any other. Hopefully I might see some long-lost primary school classmates in the same orientation group. And I heard from carrie that her ogl told her that there's a cip coming on this coming saturday. Gawd dammit. Hope we ain't doing any filthy work for a unappreciative charity organisation we had during our CIP like this year. It has been sunny these few days, so I reckon the trip at sentosa for nyjc's orientation should be fun. At least, it is something we can look forward to, other than the first day when we have to reach school by 7am. I consider this a highly impossible task, because I have been waking up at near afternoons almost everyday.

Yesterday after swimming at my brother's house at NorthOaks we went for lunch at Sembawang Shopping Centre at a Thai Restaurant. It's not very expensive and the food is fab too. We had pineapple fried rice, sambal kang kong with cuttlefish, fried squid, Malted Cereal Prawn, and Ku Lu Yo (pork with pineapple, green pepper, tomato, garnished with lettuce.) We went to the Ang Mo Kio's newly opened Mega Mell, and to our realization it was only the NTUC megamart that was opened. And some small shops like LP clothes.

For the record, it looks like these on the exterior:

Indeed, the construction shows that it's nowhere near completion.

Compared to Vivocity, this so-called Megamell is not that apt a description I must say. I think it's also smaller than Suntec City, ha ha ha.

Last Wednesday I went with my mom to Ikea and supposedly courts @ tampines too. Honestly, looking at furniture really bored me. Somehow I was a bit cranky on that day too. Not only so, there was this irritating incident. The shuttle bus was supposed to have this bus route, from the Mrt to Ikea to Courts, then back to the Mrt again. So after finishing Ikea (I consider it a chore), we boarded the bus to head to Courts. When we reached the bus stop, we wanted to alight, only to find ourselves the only two who wants to alight. Without any time to react, swamps of inconsiderate singaporeans rushed up the bus through both the front and side doors. This, gives my mom and I no chance to alight. I was cursing under my breath the whole journey back to the Mrt station. What a day.

Maybe next year I should head somewhere to count down or something. I read in the papers that there are currently many people under 20 who have drank hard liquour. I know the article has been written to dissuade teenagers like us from doing so, but it just makes me more curious. Hmm.

So new year's coming and we should have resolutions right?

Seriously I am so laidback I can't think of any right now. One of them would be to slack during the 3 months, ha ha ha. Si Min who has been through the 3 months, told me that 3 months in any jc would be like slack, can play cards without getting caught, watch movies after school, that kind of thing. Not that I play cards, anyway. Well, it should be an experience for everyone.

I should just be resigned to being a couch potato today. Or read some book that is due in 3 Jan. I borrowed 7 books and I have only completed 2 books. Slow Slow SLOW. Till then, adios.
